Moonlit Gardens: Paintings by Ann Kathryn Kagan


Carroll Museums is in bloom with artist Ann Kathryn Kagan, exhibiting “Moonlit Gardens” in the Carroll MansionArt Gallery this Spring.

Join Carroll Museums on May 18, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm for a free public reception at the Carroll Mansion.  Local artist, Ann Kathryn Kagan will be on hand to discuss her paintings exhibited at theCarroll Mansion Art Gallery.  Kagan’s “Moonlit Gardens” will be on display from May 4th through June 29th 2014 at the Carroll Mansion, located at 800 E. Lombard Street.  The mansion is open to the public Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 pm

Ann Kathryn Kagan’s large expressionistic fantasy interpretation of flowers, landscapes, skyscapes and romantic symbols of hearts and figures are influenced by the forms and colors of nature.

Baltimore resident since 1969, Ann has exhibited her work in a number of one-woman shows and group exhibitions throughout the Baltimore region.  She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting and an Art Education degree from the University of CincinnatiSchool of Design, Art & Architecture.
